Len Tillem was admitted to the California State Bar Association 1972. He is also the host of The Len Tillem Program, on KGO Radio 810AM, each Saturday and Sunday, from 4-7 PM. On KGO, Tillem answers general legal questions, provides legal advice, and solves legal problems, live and on the air.

Len Tillem's law practice, Len Tillem and Associates in Sonoma, California, concentrates on Elder Law and Personal Injury. Elder Law is a specialized field of law focusing on the unique needs of the elderly and includes such fields as Estate Planning and Estate Tax Avoidance, Wills and Probate, Trusts and Trust Administration, Long Term Care Planning including Medi-Cal Planning, and Elder Abuse. Tillem is a member of both the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform, and served as a delegate to the 1993 White House Conference on Aging.

In addition to his radio program and law practice, Len Tillem writes a newspaper column focusing on senior legal issues that is published monthly in the San Francisco Chronicle, and weekly in seven bay area newspapers, and is also featured weekly in the KGO Legal Resource Center.

Tillem is a native of New York City, having migrated to Sonoma County in the early 1970's. He earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree at Brooklyn College, and his Juris Doctorate at New York University School of Law. A resident of Sonoma, California, Tillem is married and has two children.

Mr. Tillen has written a series of articles relating to Medi-cal planning for your long-term care, wills, estate planning for large and small estates, probate and trust administration and elder abuse.
